This research documentation journey has been long overdue.
For a while now, we at the studio have been wanting to understand and have an opinion of our own, for the over whelming high density living conditions that are endemic within our country. There have been plenty of solutions over the years and many rehabilitated, into supposedly better homes. Some successful, some not so successful.
So we are documenting for our understanding various such settlements across the city and studying some houses/homes within them. A few developed by the government and few that are organically developed by the colony folks themselves.
We'll be documenting here our observations, based on our interactions with the people of the slums and their spaces. We are logging our notes here, as per our field trips. Would love to hear from you'll. So any suggestions/comments/queries are more than welcome.
